Motors used in explosive atmospheres are tested and certified by entities and/or certification laboratories, in order to guarantee their compliance with the standards applicable to the type of protection used. They are supplied with types of protection “Ex eb” (Increased Safety – with EPL Gb), “Ex ec” (Increased Safety – with EPL Gc), “Ex p” (Pressurized Enclosure – With EPL Gb and Gc), or “Ex t” (Dust Ignition Protection – with EPL Db and Dc), meeting the requirements of national and international standards, being tested and approved by internationally recognized certification bodies. Among them we can mention: TÜV (Brazil), TÜV (Germany), PTB (Germany), Test Safe (Australia), among others. |
